We accept new members after Mardi Gras season ends. This usually begins around March or April and lasts until all spots are full or until the end of the summer. Some exceptions are made so please reach out if you have questions.
We will be hosting a membership drive Bar Crawl in May, please check out that page and check back for details.
Dues are $500 per couple each year for new an existing members. For new members, monies are due at time of acceptance into the Krewe. We also accept membership with someone other than a significant other. A single membership is also $500 but you can bring a guest of choice to events if you decide to enroll solo.
Membership to the Krewe is for a primary and co-member. This includes two seats at our annual Mardi Gras Ball, riding in at least one parade, and multiple Krewe socials and events such as our annual crawfish boil. We also host an annual cook-off and share the proceeds with our collaborators, FunRaisers for St. Jude.
The Mystic Krewe of Majesty Ball is held on Saturday, January 16 (evening event) at Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino. This elegant celebration is the highlight of our royal season and a night of unforgettable pageantry, entertainment, and fellowship.
Each member and their registered co-member attend as part of their annual dues — no additional ticket purchase is required for members. Guest tickets are available for $75 per person (plus minimal Eventbrite processing fees) and must be purchased in advance.
Each membership includes a table of 10, and members are responsible for decorating their table in alignment with the Ball’s annual theme. Creativity is encouraged as we transform the ballroom into a magical experience each year.
This is a formal attire event. Please refer to our Ball Dress Code Page for full guidelines and expectations to ensure a polished and regal evening for all.
Each year, the Mystic Krewe of Majesty proudly rides in the Lafayette Queen’s Parade on Lundy Gras, an exciting evening parade that highlights the spirit and pageantry of Carnival season. All riding members are required to wear teal wigs, coordinated costumes, and festive face embellishments to maintain a unified and vibrant krewe appearance.
The float also includes a designated parade jersey; however, additional costume pieces may vary from year to year and are the responsibility of each member.
Members must purchase their own throws for the parade. There is no additional fee to ride the float, aside from personal costume and throw expenses.
